[livejournal.com profile] prk, [livejournal.com profile] amarillion I owe you an apology.

I watched The Poison Sky and (under [livejournal.com profile] mynxii’s advice) tried not to think about the science. The disadvantage of this method is that the mental level to which I dropped caused my jaw to relax and subsequent drooling. The Doctor’s Daughter was a refreshing antidote, not, alas, for the science (or the chronology) but for the values that cause me to celebrate Doctor Who again and again.

In short: you were right but I still love the show.

If I was to organise some regular Doctor Who watching would people be interested?

I'm interested in the third Doctor, played by Jon Pertwee (1970–1974) and the fourth Doctor, played by Tom Baker (1974–1981) right now but could be talked into other Doctors as well.

Thursday: involved seeing episodes 1, 2 & 3 of the new Dr Who courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] cricketk and liking it a lot.

Friday: involved starting a new gym program, not moving a pool table, threatening to eat [livejournal.com profile] cricketk's housemate, waiting an eternity for pizza, playing upwords and watching twister (there will be the acquiring of, and playing, of this game).

Saturday: involved a home re-enactment of [livejournal.com profile] juffles and I having breakfast in Freo except with [livejournal.com profile] ascetic_hedony doing the dishes after. There was also much being visited, love, Firefly, Black Books and The Boondock Saints which I have finally lured most of my friends into watching.

Sunday: involved a lot of sleeping, chatting at Dome, finding of random people not meant to be meeting at Dome and eating of indian food.

Oh and [livejournal.com profile] maharetr, the game I was playing.. Nethack
