Was awesome. Guy Noble, the conductor is a funny guy and both the Carmina Burana pieces and the 1812 Overture (with cannons!) stood out for sheer musical grandeur. Much love to [livejournal.com profile] grouchiegrrl  for the excellent seating.

I also note there is a dude driving around town in a black Lotus with GOTHAM plates *grins*.

It was great - Guy seems like a very cool guy! You'll have to come next year.
