Symphony in the City

Was awesome. Guy Noble, the conductor is a funny guy and both the Carmina Burana pieces and the 1812 Overture (with cannons!) stood out for sheer musical grandeur. Much love to grouchiegrrl  for the excellent seating.

I also note there is a dude driving around town in a black Lotus with GOTHAM plates *grins*.

I love all those pieces.

Guy Noble rocks. Last time I saw him conduct he was wearing a Princess costume, complete with pink cone-dunce hat.
