Can't do it. Put it down half way through: I don't care what Bill is up to and I can no longer watch Sookie's search for a tiny, boring life with anything resembling equanimity.

I have had to admit to having no taste on many occasions; it appears to be getting easier.
The Sookie Stackhouse novels are about wholesome blonde little Sookie the barmaid who has a 'disability.' She is a telepath and not happy about it. Alas! She keeps being called upon to use and develop her abilities - repeated exposure to vampire blood isn't helping her stay normal either.
It's kinda bland with poor characterisation. There's something about the writing that has no bite to it.
