…and women were grateful.
*sniggers* Have been informed my problem with gratitude stems from not knowing any real men. Am wondering exactly what women were grateful for as would much rather have been at the top of the food chain in most historical societies. Was amused that
cricketk responded to this by pointing out how hard it was to harvest and mill wild grain vs hunting for food with sharp implements. A woman who a) cares deeply about food and b) is impressively practical.
Saturday was the usually hodgepodge of cleaning, washing, training and orienteering. Found the time for a loooooong call to Oxford to chat to R&R who have devastated certain fond hopes by declaring their intention to remain that far away for longer. Wahhh
Also went to a party where I was given food *loves* and chatted to by a manly surfer type with great arms. Am I shallow? Alas; am prejudiced about men who can't shut up about politics.
Sunday: in aid of the
cricketk moves house initiative there was this whole getting up thingy and then a driving thingy before the eyes focussing thingy which by the way I am not recommending; nor my new Fremantle -> Subiaco speed record. I failed to confirm I was turning up for breakfast but a certain fabulous person gave me bacon cooked by another fabulous person who also offered me mushrooms and eggs so I shared the love around.
We moved furniture and boxes and more furniture and more boxes and
cricketk has officially more crap than I have. People were good hearted and funny and muscular and this was a Good Thing.
Took the dogs to the beach after; was mourning loss of tennis balls when it was revealed that they were all under the passenger seat. Oops. Cuddled my wet, sandy woofer and apologised for being gone all day.

On the subject of arms I'm still deciding what I want but am currently leaning towards something pointy and sharp.

Arms - Well, sounds like an edward scissorhands fetish you have there madam. Thought you were dangerous enough without implements[6]?
[0] Last time I leave you with one.
[1] It's about 10km, involves hurdles and some sort of floating motorbikes and everyone has to wear some serious latex masks.
[2] Shut it!
[4] A bit like 4ceps but with 2 less sharp pointy claws
[6] Is an impedlement a tool that is deliberately designed to not be used?
