There's a small reef growing about 50 m off the shore on an old pier and what looks like some large tires. Has some corals and a lot of weeds.

Saw a sea horse hiding in the weeds with its tail curled around a rock, a western rock cod under a ledge, some sergeant bakers, a couple of active little spiney starfish, many solitary ascidian (oh THAT's what they are), some sea cucumbers, leatherjackets, boxfish, wavy grubfish, talma, sea carp, globefish (tres cute), a giant snail (have only ever seen these washed up dead on beaches leaking purple dye) and a little black and white flatworm.

Much appreciation to some guy called Adrian who has pictures and descriptions. Saw a lot of other *things* too. Fine selection of old coke cans.

Went about 8:00 am
Offshore breeze and sporadic cloud cover
Temperature between 16.7C and 20C
Max depth ~20m; 61 minute dive.
