So what would be the most effective way to exercise an overweight daschund?

I mean we're talking a dog that is so close to the ground that cocking a leg is an exercise in futility, a dog that makes you wonder what rotten begger docked it's legs. A species of canine that can run under coffee tables and motor vehicles with impunity.

Now think good and hard about what I might have seen in the park this afternoon...
