I went with [personal profile] mr_booboo (who graciously organised tickets),[personal profile] sarren  (who sternly ordered me not to talk during) and [profile] mynxii  (who abandoned us while leaving when the mud got too deep).

The show was inspiring. The music, the beautiful costumes, the performers with their amazing strength and flexibility. I want to babble about the entire thing, the net climbing, the child acrobats, the clown/magician, the songs, the contortionist (boneless and so, so beautiful) and everything else I saw. Totally worth it.

A couple leaving with their two smallish children were having trouble carrying them, the second that one was in shoulder-ride position she kept contorting. Sheesh, you take 'em to see a show and they get all bendy.

Lucky you! I saw Varekai when it was in Sydney and as usual was entranced. I was very tempted to see if I could get a ticket while in Perth but I didn't really have time to do so. It really is a stunning performance.

I am *almost* tempted to go again.
