chaosmanor did the actual buying, but I contributed brain power! That counts! We're getting a much nicer wifi experience now and had the fun of naming the new network... yes, we *did* watch a lot of My Little Ponies recently, why do you ask? - Looked at a house the commune found, it’s very nice – has enough bedrooms, enough space and three bathrooms – it’s also priced higher than we’ve been planning for so we’re going to re-do our financing plans then, assuming we can afford it ( which I think we can) probably make an offer.
- Tripped and fell on transcendancing’s Social Dance classes – was good fun, relaxed, interesting and light exercise. I’ll be going back for more both for the dancing and opportunity to spend time with transcendancing and maharetr. Alas they are held late at night, I’m going to have to start work late or skip meditating to get enough sleep.
- Dug out my collection of jewelry – in a box in storage cleverly marked ‘Hat’s (there were hats too). I don’t usually wear jewelry but I’m aiming for a certain look at work so I’m exploring that. This has been very interesting and involved a series of conversations about what people use jewelry to convey in the workplace. I feel like I’m getting mentoring in a sekrit art. It turns out most of what I already have isn’t suitable – it’s a collection of magpie impulse buys, presents from others and stuff I’ve inherited from my grandmother.
