• House [1] building inspection reports have come back, I need to
  • Get an electrician to put in two junction boxes to cover exposed wires in the ceiling (booked for this morning)
  • Get a plumber to fix the hot water tap in the laundry (booked for "Tuesday between 2&4") Sad, sad note is that it took me and maharetr 4.5 years to have a conversation about washing clothes in hot water. It has never occurred to me to do so and thus never occurred to me to get the laundry hot tap fixed whereas there are things maharetr would cheerfully have washed in hot water.
  • Get a <not quite sure what yet> to treat white ant infestation in post on front porch (quote on work incoming from specialist)
• House [2] We're moving in this weekend \o/
  • We will be packing 'stuff' on Saturday if anyone wants to come and a) pack stuff or b) provide moral support
  • I say 'we', I will be painting my bedroom in the morning and then packing 'stuff' as carpenter has recommended this. If you feel like coming and entertaining me please feel free to do so
  • Movers are booked for Sunday to carry heavy stuff we can't face moving
• New Years Eve was fantastic, I think we fit about 45 people in the house without feeling in any way cramped and it was a lovely party.
  • We (being me, maharetr, chaosmanor and cupidsbow ) ceremonially signed our PodProperty Agreement in the company of many of our dearest friends and thank you all for making it a special night.
  • I got trounced by fred_mouse's spawn in a balloon fight and ended up having a surprisingly serious conversation with the two youngest about HIV in Australia in the 80's after 2nd youngest found my stuffed Nemo and youngest also wanted a stuffed toy to cuddle. All I could find was my giant plush HIV microbe. *facepalm*
• Life is kinda awesome right now, it has random dragonflys

T1 is moving in with David for a trial period and it may well be, that in six weeks our humble household will be in need of a third person to brighten our lives.
