Well, Herself IS doing her school project about animals about squid (I'm still not sure how we talked her into that; Catboy and I were pretty much just BSing away and before I knew it it was Architeuthis this and cuttlefish that....)
...see, it's shit like that that makes people not want to visit your continent. You guys need some short videos about how hardly anyone is dying horribly from wildlife interactions downtown this month.

(I am much sillier about koala bears, though. I had a stuffed one as a child because my grandparents went to Australia and brought it back for me. I know that in real life they smell horrible and have big claws and everything and I am much happier with cats.)

We've got bush turkeys in Queensland - ridiculous creatures, I can't believe they can actually nest in trees and don't fall out when they sleep.
