Heh, and they say women's stories are emotional, if this movie was a lawn it would cut itself.

I've obviously timed out on stories about man pain because I really can't get behind Batman as a character and him sulking for seven years because a woman fridged herself for him leaves me cold. Alas. I know Batman's inability to deal emotionally is core to his character so it's not like I was surprised.

I did enjoy Han Solo Catwoman, and Blake with his angry orphan detecting powers of awesome.

Still planning to see the film at some point. Might accidentally say "diddumsy-widdumsy-schnookums" out loud by the sound of it.

Good to hear that the film has some redeeming features :-)

I had much the same reaction - hard to appreciate the male characters getting all the complex and layered development around their pain, when the female characters continue to be half realised. Catwoman really was exceptional though - she didn't have a whole lot to work with, but she did brilliantly with it.
