..and a bit more arthritic. We've noticed more pained whimpers and post-exercise limping of late so he just started a 4-week regime of Cartrophen injections to see if we can make his life less painful. Kenobi stresses out loudly in the vet waiting room and the vet was very nice about me asking if we could administer the shots at home. They gave me some tupperware and an icepack to transport the remaining 3 weeks worth of shots home in safety and asked me to call in once a week and let them know how it's going.

The Sookmonster got a post-vet consolation ball-onna-rope and bounced around like a bouncy thing when we got home. I was worried that 'is a little quiet in the 24-48 hours after the first injection' which is listed as a possible side-affect (along with vomiting) translates to 'is hideously depressed but unable to communicate because he is a dog' so I'm relieved and glad to see him acting happy.

MY ball rope thing Sookmonster Awwww

<3 woofer!

Woofies! He is a gorgeous dog, as I've said before.

Quiet = usually stoned, in my experience. Ozzie (the white fluffy one) is terrified of storms, and if you give him a Valium as prescribed, he floaaats through life.

They do that. I hates it when they go mopey, cause it's sometimes very hard to work out what's wrong. I don't speak woofer well enough, and that's saddening.

Give him cuddles for me, for I miss him too.

He is a lovely woofer, and I'm sure with some help in the dog happy juice department, he will be so for a good long while.
