A lot of this article rang true for me.
  1. Create a culture of education
  2. Provide regular, consistent feedback
  3. Set time aside for weekly 1:1 meetings
  4. Manage the grunt work properly (always see light at the end of the tunnel)
  5. Publicly acknowledge good work

That's a great article! I forwarded the link to one of my Bosses and he said he missed an acknowledgement in the article that bosses are also in need of feedback, because they themselves are sometimes just as doubtful. Reason #23435235 why I like my job, that he's honest with his personnel and doesn't pretend. I liked that. :)
