• father is ill, this is me cancelling anything I may have booked for the next week. He will be fine eventually but is not fine right now. We constructed the Petronis Towers from a model kit together on Friday - I am impressed with it as a toy - the kit was really well designed
• football grand final was fun, although the highlight for me was spending the afternoon with my brothers and their friends including skyping in a friend who recently moved to Queensland. Ask me about the mango-chilli-prawn sandwich with salt-and-vineger chips in it, my brain is still trying to parse it.
• went to an Agile meetup and saw some enthusiastic presenting on how to do Agile - it seems suspiciously familiar after working on the AO3
