• The Great Steampunk Affaire was fun and surprisingly low key - we wandered around SciTech and admired people's outfits then left. I'm glad we took the trouble to dress up :)
• Captain America wasn't bad, I had low expectations and was pleasantly surprised (they were very low)
• braces rewire was pretty painless, now have bright pink chain elastics again and hope for their eventual removal
• new job is now three weeks in and I'm still keen - so much to learn but all good stuff
• our offer on the house was countered with something we could accept - we're meeting on Tuesday night to do paperwork - HOLY CRAP IT'S REAL
• an offer was made on my house - very low - maybe too low - am doing some budget/financing checking before making a decision about whether to consider it (I have so many spreadsheets right now even I'm impressed)
• exam for F.M. tomorrow - will be so very glad when it's over, this has been my least favourite unit to date
• accidentally volunteered to be hash leader on the Rogaine next weekend - should be great fun

Yes, you are - I was supposed to be studying for F.M. today but instead I did a LOT OF MATHS.
