I adore these tiny, delicate things and get excited when they come up.

Delicate and shredded

Tiny hole

Airy, curling and full of water

Up here in the great green North we have an entire fungi festival! Sadly, none of the photos are as evocative as I might wish. I will have to take better ones for them next year.

We are very good at mushrooms, locally. Our chanterelles...well, pretty much better than sex.

Oh, dear, here I am not trying to be a distraction. Well, work on in the assurance that far away in a distant time zone there live a woodland people who are overwhelmed by fungi, much of the year.

Though that looks very overwhelmed by fungi, indeed. Is that an aluminum casement plus fungi? I thought Australia wasn't nearly that wet!

Aww, poor developers.

There could be a lot of beguiling children's books written about my homeland. Fortunately we are podunk enough that most people don't seem to give a fuck, which frankly I will take over the alternatives (having had the alternatives, I prefer obscurity).

I would kill that with really deadly chemicals, were it my building, because whoa.

If you see anyone dressed in green peering out from behind a tree around here, they're likely either a meth dealer or a UO football player. Either way they're likely to assault you and leave you for dead in the (overflowing, this year) ditch, so really, I would forgo, personally.

They are cute and yet sporacious.
