I am hideously biased because Laney writes works set in my country and it feels like a warm wrapping of 'home' when I read. It's seductive!

Romance! Science fiction! Magic! Australians! Those bloody giant kangaroos!

Samuel's sekrit mission to Australia is interrupted by a broken leg, a new relationship and a budding magician. That's OK, what he should really be worried about is the rocks.
