Is it just me? Gay romantic comedy. Sweet, not a good movie but had surprisingly well developed secondary characters. Bruce Gray stole the show for me with his whimsical charm.

Riese: Kingdom Falling. Steampunk fantasy in webisodes - cool outfits, interesting women, a mystery! Loving it although the webisode format seems to lend itself to sparse, disjointed story telling. Could do without Tapping's narration.

Lost Girl. Lost fae succubus has no idea what she is; stumbles into fae politics. Seems women and queer friendly. Only saw the pilot (during which [personal profile] sarren apologised for one of the most unfortunate lines I've seen an actress have the guts to deliver) but I'm keen to see more.

Lost Girl is awesomecakes! It's not perfect but it does deliver female friendship front and centre and is sex positive. If you want more fannish stuff: [community profile] lost_girl.

I like Lost Girl very much. There's some fail, but mostly it's good and silly in a way that reminds me of early Buffy, but with much more sex and much less guilt about sex.
