The Carolina 12 is 3.6m long and weighs about 23kg, it has a front and rear hatch for storage and is supposed to be a great entry level touring boat. Whee!

That is a very sweet looking boat. Does she have internal bulkheads?

And, most importantly, does she have a name yet?

Bulkheads - yes! Apparently she's good for 2-day camping trips! No name, I am pondering and I would love to join you on the water sometime :)

If you can camp for two days with her, then you're good for a week, IMHO.

We'll keep you posted about our upcoming boatings - Penguin Is is pencilled in for next Sunday, depending on the winds.

*g* so I made it out for a quick test paddle up the Canning River and she's a lovely little boat.

Sunday may not be possible, I have a meeting with my uni group for our assignment but I'd love to come paddling and I'll keep my eyes open :)

You are more than welcome to join us on any of our expeditions! And we have *lots* of storage - both wet and dry. No bribery needed.
