Dear Diary, am now 6 squared

Thank you to everyone who helped make my 6² birthday both fun and memorable, I feel loved :)

• Lunch with father and siblings - mostly devoted to rampant football appreciation
• Blew GIANT bubbles with my super-duper new GIANT bubble blowing equipment - need to get better at this but satisfaction from the perfect, HUGE one that floated off into the sky was very high.
• Dinner with friends and a vast amount of seafood *loves on seafood* *loves on friends*
• Lime Brule (my entire day was not-so-sekritly planned around this bit)
• Playground climbing equipment - the tall, bouncy stuff
• Sleeping in followed by a movie
• Lunch with mama, did not buy a puppy despite great temptation; did buy self nice sunglasses to replace broken ones.

I narrowly avoided coming home with a retired greyhound the other day (OMG, so handsome and sweet, this dog), so I v. much understand the fortitude it takes to resist appealing doggies.

I understand the appeal of retired greyhounds - they are gorgeous dogs. I was mostly saved because I don't actually want a Pomeranian (OMG so tiny, so cute, so not a real dog *is prejudiced*), Bull terrier or Collie... my woofer would never forgive me.

They had kelpie puppies at the pet shop the other day, black and tan kelpie puppies. Which I will not get as I do not have room or time for a dog, and if I did I should check the RSPCA first, and I suspect that the cat would object (and so would the human).

After getting the woofer from the Cockburn City Works depot I would definitely seek another rescue puppy.
