- Supernatural: Brothers have pointed out that Lucifer would not play well in the wet. Lucifer versus Kali – Cagematch! outcome is slightly more palatable although I remain irritated by the introduction of bastardized non Christian mythos only to bludgeon them to death with a cranky, decaying archangel. I am also saddened by reducing Kali to a white guy’s girlfriend who has to be rescued by more white guys. Ah well, appropriating other religion’s goddesses by fucking and demoting them has a long, historical precedent, it’s not like this new or surprising. Oh Dean; you’re just this great big (very pretty) mechanism for transmitting messages for the great white patriarchy. I want to love you so much more than I actually can.
- Caprica: Still awesome, am curious as to why they all seem to smoke cigarettes – signifier of a decadent, decaying society?
- V (2009): Strong pilot but not leaving me with unanswered questions, might save up for after we run out of episodes of Caprica.

I also chose to think that the other deities were not killed-killed, but just inconveniently discorporated, and are back on their home turfs to get better. ;)

I like that interpretation as well :)

I wonder if they think smoking gives it a noir aspect, but it just makes me think of the characters as annoying filthy addicts (says the former annoying filthy addict).

I've seen either 2 or 3 eps of V - hasn't made a huge impression on me yet - but it's had reviews that liken it to As Good As BSG, so I'll keep watching...when I get around to it.

V 2009 - we're definitely gonna get into it when we run out of Caprica.
