Yes! long live the pelicans! I love driving up the freeway into the city from the south (when I'm on the way home) and seeing pelicans on top of the street light poles near the narrows bridge. I forget how big they are until I see that.

I love pelicans, especially when they are flying, they are so un-aerodynamically graceful.
