Paddling in the bay

It has been WAY TOO LONG since I did this - maharetr came as well for her first time. We spent a couple of hours noodling around in the playboats, practising deep sea rescues and playing ball and now I am pleasantly sleepy.

Leecetheartist and I have a couple of 12' Hobie SoTs, and spend what Sundays we can out on the river...

UWA Outdoor club - Matilda Bay.

I keep saying I'll buy a nice little Finn or something and do early morning river paddles - one day!

We started off with a couple of Spirit Fun Skis - they are a nice and cheap little boat.

We upgraded to the Hobie Outbacks so that we would have enough space and hull-length to do some touring. And the Mirage (pedal) drive is soooo much easier on the back! On the down side, they are very expensive.
