Bushfire and explosions...

The East end of the Grose Ave Power Station has gone up (multiple explosions and visible flames) as has much of the area bounded by Lake and Guthrie. I was cut off by the smoke and heat on the way back from lunch and took this photo as well as some footage (embedded below). Ouch.

It looks like there were no injuries and fire service is saying they had it under control within the hour - yay!

We had been wondering about the trio of power glitches we had out here in Welshpool! We had been speculating a car-pole impact nearby.
