Want to help me dye my hair? I'm currently thinking the unassisted approach is going to involve warming up a mess of egg, henna and beet and sticking my head in a bucket of it.

No I haven't - I'll do before/after pics for you - for science!

I'm expecting brown-black and was planning on cooking a beetroot into the mix for warmth.

This is starting to sound like exciting crazy science! I think black henna with beetroot would create a lovely colour. Hopefully you'll post the before/afters for all to see. ;)
