AD&T Weekly Meeting + First Support Meeting

AD&T from 11 to 1am and then User Support from 9-10.

• Process: We had a bit of a talk about how the committee functions, how we treat the different roles and whether it works for people - it's good for us to do this, we can see how far we've come and we can look at ways we want to improve. Code and Design are better at working together now and we don't exactly have a Coder Lead, and that seems to be working too. It's very much a community of equals with people of different skill levels helping each other by providing technical advice and/or moral support as the situation requires.
• Co-location: Ordered servers, ordered hard drives from a *different* supplier after we tried to order the eight we wanted from the catalogue and they mysteriously vanished from the website. OMG so many obstacles :p We're also hoping they arrive in a week where half our Systems team are not on holiday
• Deploy schedule: Still on for mid September!
• Bookmarks poll is still open - go vote!
• Invitations is almost coded (elz says she is tweaking it right now) and I am very excited about getting to see it deployed to Test)
• Subscriptions design (which is bingeling's baby) is starting to take shape - this is such a cool feature! The bit where we digressed to discuss the likelyhood of needing to subscribe to all 'high school AUs with tentacle porn' is a sign of how seriously we take this weighty matter
• Open Beta: Still on for October – we’ve drafted the news post ('we' being the awesome zooey_glass) and are trialling it internally to the rest of the OTW before we show it to everyone else.

We also had our first AO3 Support Team meeting - we're putting together a group to review / improve / set up a User Support team / process / software so that we can significantly improve what we do for Open Beta. The early part of the meeting went something like this: (I have totally cheated and taken out spelling mistakes and the bits where people linked their RL names to their fannish names)
