Dead Soldiers: An Oral History of the End Times by [livejournal.com profile] fryadvocate (Sam, Dean) R
43,400. Interviews with primary sources seek to understand the 'End of Times War' in which Dean and Sam Winchester, two criminals with a history of violence and petty theft, became commonly known as a prophet of the Lord and the Anti-Christ. Not the easiest style of writing to read for me, but watching the tale unfold was great. ,,,,,,,,,,,

Vociferance

982. Gentle and absurd. Not being understood is the most frustrating thing in the world. Unless you are Sam, in which case not understanding Dean is the most frustrating thing in the world.

Entangled Alliances by [livejournal.com profile] rei_c (Sam/Dean) R
22,500. Set in a fantastically AU world. Dean Winchester is on the trail of Azazel, a powerful Rogue and to do so he must form an alliance with the High Witch of Nouvelle Orleans. She offers him her heir, Samuel and together they cautiously form an alliance. Fun, took a little getting used to all the capital letters, feels like the start of a much longer story.,,,,,,,,,,

Once as Soft as Water

11,644. Heavy, sad and inevitable feeling. Dean gets sick and Sam talks him into walking away from the fight.

3,000. Lovely tone and sparse style. Sam gets Dean out of the deal and now Sam's gotta put Dean back together again. ,,,,,,,,,,,,
