Did the TheAwkwardYetHappyPedestrianDriverDance on the way to work where I wanted to cross the road and the driver wanted to turn and we both paused and smiled at each other with increasing levels of radiance until I cracked and let him give me right of way.

I love that happening :)

I had a good one recently walking past the deli on the way home where we both realised we were veering in the same to let each other go by, which wasn't quite working until I danced out of the way and jumped over a puddle. There was much grinning on both sides.

As well you should have. Pedestrians have right of way in front of turning traffic, legally, but it's always chancy as most drivers don't know this. The rare ones that do should be encouraged.:-)

I did that today with a reversing driver!! I got right of way because it was raining :)
