Held from 11pm to 1:30am then I slept in till 12 noon, [personal profile] maharetr said she was about to check my dead body - sleeping past 7am does not happen unless I'm pretty tired.

We always have a lot to talk about. The agenda always looks pretty bare five days before, then it just sprouts new items like crazy.
  • Co-location - still negotiating / learning / researching - we're going to get this *right*. [personal profile] prk offered to help out and has been applying his expertise and translating some of the tech-talk.
  • Design - holy crap! All sorts of people are funnelling information into the AD&T design-machine - it's partly Open Beta that's pushing us, and you know, we want it to be amazing. We had a monster talk about scheduling for the next few months, which items are blocking Open Beta and then refined the list - it's scarily long! I had brutally divided suggestions into 'Accepted' and 'Proposed' then everyone beat me into submission and put them in the right categories. *grins*
  • We're also talking about front end coding, there was no value in trying to code the Archive for lots of different browsers when the look/feel was changing all the time but we're now at a point where we need a team of CSS people who can make it pretty, more usable and accessible - there will be recruiting!
  • The Coder training team have been doing really good work too - it's hard to walk in and pick up brand new tools and our beautiful team make it as easy as possible.
  • We'll aim for another small deploy probably at the end of the month and then the next one will be the Invitations code - we want to do some pretty serious testing on that :p

Just for the record, I love these; I wish I could do them for my committees, but -- hey, maybe I can. *makes mental note*

See, the committee for which I could do this is the committee for which I no longer write all the minutes. But this has possibilities.
