Terminator 4: Salvation

This was weirdly disappointing, characters underdeveloped and that strong sense of women present as people that I get off T1, T2 and The Sarah Connor Chronicles was absent. I feel more reconciled to TSCC being cancelled in the face of a Terminator movie coming out; they are so AU it would be hard to use T4 to make the jump to TSCC.

I’m going to put this in the same basket as T3 and pretend it didn’t happen. There were a bunch of shout-outs to T1 and T2 that were fun to see and it has a lot to offer in terms of explosions and giant robots but after watching TSCC I wanted very different things.

...were other people as relieved as I was when the T101's skin burned off?

I don't understand everybody's intense dislike of T3. Saying "I didn't like it" is one thing, but everyone keeps saying "I pretend it never happened". It's the poor misunderstood stepchild of the franchise.

I guess what I'm saying is it doesn't fit with how I imagined John and the storyline and it's easier to discount it than it is to try and make it work with what came before.
