I watched a reality TV show and liked it… yes, I know, the world will be ending shortly. I blame my brothers for this. Scrapheap Challenge: The Scrappy Races features small teams of engineers scavenging a scrap-heap and building things to complete challenges. I just saw an episode where four different teams tried to design devices to a) capture a fake sheep and b) launch it through the air into a pen. Claw, Spike, Net and Noose followed by Giant metal throwing arm, Air cannon, Rail gun and Centrifuge throwing arm. I wanted there to be a trebuchet so badly.

It sounds like turning mythbusters into a reality show. I approve.

s'Great! And Robert "Kryten" LLewellyn as the host as well.

I loved the "Fire Fighting Boats" episode where one team had a fast boat that took minutes to put out the fire while the other team had a slwo boat that extinguished the fire in under 10 seconds.

Junkyard Wars/Scrapheap Challenge is a great show. It gives me renewed faith that humans can survive the apocalypse mad-max style.

I think my favourite episodes involves the construction of hovercraft.
