Blood tests back, non-snot producing flu incumbent (win! - sort of), GP gave me a medical certificate for all of next week. I'm going to rest up, go to the Watchmen screening then spend the next few days doing essential things only. Essential = Swancon 2009 programming, an Archive of Our Own meeting and sleep.

I also just found out you can synch Gmail with Outlook thus providing a backup tool and instant access which makes me ridiculously happy.

no long-term damage - yay! (there were various possibilities of cartlidge etc being damaged, which would've caused arthritis, but that lot is all ok).

"just" a torn ligament. ow. no surgery needed. should be ok in a month or 2. am a bit annoyed that i can't play canoe-polo until then.

the prints smell of photo-processing chemicals - not used to that smell any more :)

ps. my competitive sister went skiing last week, and picked up a MASSIVE bruise on her arm. which she didn't tell me about (she told me about the incident, but not the bruise). this suggests that, unusually, i won the best-injury competition. *gloats*

(to be fair, she doesn't need surgery this week either. which is nice.)

Well I guess flu is better than whooping cough or a tooma.

So we're allowed to tell people about that link now? Because I told [livejournal.com profile] nico_wolfwood so that would make me feel better :) (She was wondering how many of her 4 or 5 suggestions were going to happen and if she was obligated to run them all...)

Go for it, we planned to make it public this week.
