An Archive of Our Own – read only public Beta

OMG OMG OMG! The Beta¹ version of the Archive of Our Own is up. Account creation is turned off so we can work on performance – after that we will gradually introduce new users through a viral invite system.

*victory dance*

In honour of the vast amounts of creativity, community spirit and sheer determination that went into this² I have ficced. This may never happen again.

PC users see a heart symbol but Mac users see a vertical line.

in the end, I decided that it was acceptable to save publically. so I now have an author:black_samvara tag.

and now I understand what is with the vertical lines that I see in posts. yay for asking questions
