It's been a fun day

I slept in, did laundry, took maharetr with me Japanese mug and bowl shopping, replaced my much mourned lost sunglasses, played some pool at the Court, had a really good steak at Vultures and came across what I think is a Southern Boobook Owl in Northbridge on the way back to the car.

The person you should point in the direction of these photos is a friend of mine gemfyre who is obsessed with birdwatching and regularly goes on her own birdwatching expeditions... She should be able to say almost immediately what it is.
