Dark Knight, Fantastic Four and [profile] shydars's exhibition

The flu is boring and tiring but I've managed (between naps) to see Dark Knight (which was exhausting and long but very, very cool), Fantastic Four I & II (which were terrible) and [personal profile] shrydar's exhibition (which was also very cool).

I also caught the last Dr Horrible episode, I am all for supporting this, I think it's an important step in the move to online distribution (let's just ignore the minute likelyhood of Dr Horrible being distributed via Australia iTunes for a moment). The episodes (and songs!) were fun and well crafted and Nathan Fillion looked like he was having a ball.

I am also *so* tired of watching women being the girlfriend and die to further some guys story.

I really enjoyed Dr Horrible and particularly love the idea of Bad Horse, but I also thought, 'Great, let's kill the girl, who really onloy exists to show us something about the male characters.'

Perhaps he could raise her from the dead?

I think Dr Horrible is a great character and really enjoyed the show - so many great lines!

Just feeling a bit weary about the Fate of Women in TV.

Well said.
