Snorkling again

Between the paddlers, snorkelers, surfers, joggers, walkers and some dude kneeling on a board and paddling with his hands I certainly didn't feel lonely! Very tanned woman was power-walking with her domesticated rat - poor little thing.

Saw many different fiskies browsing on the kelp, a boxfish, a HUGE whiskery catfish and a seahorse pretending to be seaweed. Am feeling smug about the seahorse - hard to spot! Visibility about 5 meters, water a bit cold. Met psycho_tabby's mother who is very nice and told me stories about shared houses she has lived in.

She's lucky the poor thing doesn't get heat stroke or swooped up by some predatorial bird!

[grin] You just reminded me - there was a woman in Perth this mornign walking her cat on leash by the bird lake.

Well it's poor little legs were moving as fast as they could - she carried it part of the way.
