S1 was all about John, S2 was all about Sammy, S3 was all about Dean. Can we have S4 being all about Mary? Something about Mary?
  1. S1 type ending: Dean dragged off the hell watching Sam facing the forces of evil and immanent apocalypse on his semi-Darkside lonesome.
  2. S2 type ending: Sam and Dean resolve Dean's deal and the incoming war; plot of S4 revolves around something new.
I *so* want a Bela Talbot spin off show with elements of Supernatural, Mission Impossible, Raiders of the Last Arc, James Bond and MacGuyver. She could be all smooth and sophisticated on the surface and own bizarre supernatural and natural  tech and have an assortment of really varied, weird contacts. She'd do lots of dubiously moral things and be incredibly complicated internally and occasionally confuse us by doing things that appear to be fundamentally good and there would be snark and sneaking around and dressing up and instead of MotW it would be Heist of the Week.

This is awesome.

And for some reason, I'm seeing Pierce Brosnan as Bela's snarky, witty, morally dubious opposite number in it.

I don't know either.

Anyway, have friended you - no need to friend back, as I mostly go on about RL stuff and the occasional political rant. At least, I think that's what I do -- I don't go back and read my own journal so I don't really know.

Thanks again for the numbers over at heavymeta!

It would have been brilliant! Damnit.

I was all set to love Bela like woah and now I'm all saddened by the supernatural crew's total inability to write decent interactions with young women. I'm wondering how much that has to do with it being the Sam&Dean show and having female characters thrust on them by management that they don't want and don't have a place for the the storyline. Not that this excuses writing them badly.
