You know that hot, expectant feeling when you're waiting for the storm to break? It went very nicely with sitting in the hot wind on the riverfront listening to KABOOM, watching the fireworks explode and seeing forked lighting open up in the distance.

People were nice, day was great with lots of happy moments, good food, Heroes 1x12 and a ridiculous amount of episodes of Lois and Clark which is the cheesiest show ever. They must be sending away to special, rare spotted Tibetan mountain goats for this cheese and every episode I feel an urge to shout "Please God, will someone think of the children!"... slightly high on spandex methinks.

Australia day - is this in case you forget which part of the dominion you are in? (-; And 41C - I think it has been averaging about 4.1C during the days here, it's almost the same. If you squint. But tellingly, I'm not wearing my bikini.

Fireworks - did you get to make any? Apparently it's not that hard if you ask the people that do. Although I suspect there may be some self selection going on there, the unsuccessful ones being somewhat unable to relate their experiences...

It's the day we try to wear our 'We are all boat people' shirts - those of us who aren't wearing teensy bikinis and clothes made out of the flag.

Fireworks - there was no making of fireworks - this is swimming and lazing weather.

(-; Lazing around? I shall have a word with weather control and see what I can do about that. We can probably ship some superfluous winter over from here that should stop all this lazing around you seem to be suffering from! (-;

HAHAHA I have to admit I LOVE Lois and Clark. It was my favourite show during high school and I had a major crush on Dean Cain back then. While I admit it is cheesy, I still can't help but love it. I have seasons 1-3, just need to get 4 now :)
