I am conflicted.
One the one hand, the Winchesters are now dead in the eyes of the FBI which can be a good thing and Dean got a chance to showcase his essential humanity while Sam got to show off his dubious moral decline. I do find myself wondering why you didn’t have protective tattoos from a much younger age. So, does Lilith hold Dean’s contract?
On the other hand you just killed off YET ANOTHER BLACK CHARACTER and indicated that the only good virgin is a dead one, leaving the beauteous and most likely really fucking evil Ruby still alive (and still possessing a putatively innocent girl). This unsettling S3 trend of blatant misogyny is not rocking my world. Don’t even get me started on Lilith and the treatment of witches.
I respect that you want to wind up the FBI plotline, I respect that you want to appeal to a male demographic by casting kickass hot girls, I respect that you’re probably pleased to be casting black actors at all but YOU ARE SMARTER THAN THIS. Really.
