ABC news link for clips. Kevin Rudd (and his speech) was all I could have asked for except for not being John Howard over 10 years ago. It was a bit teary and I'm glad we were with everyone else because it made the cheering more fun. Pity about Nelson.

Yeah we were inside - it was getting pretty packed though - I think having it an enclosed space was a bit silly given the number of poeple who turned up. Maybe they assumed less numbers.

Apparently they seriously underestimated the numbers, if that fact that Alan Carpenter had to stand and listen from outside is any indication!
