Ruby, you are one complicated gal. I’m happy for you to be genuine or lying your cute little butt off – either way you’re possessing some girl and I’m still sorry for her. I gotta wonder, if you’re telling the truth, what that might mean for Dean and his potential journey towards demon_hood.I like the way this episode essentially told your (and Dean’s) story – maybe you were once like Elizabeth, or maybe you were Renee.

Sam, you poor, poor bastard. I hear there’s a war on and you’ve got an enemy ‘in the West’ who is going to destroy you (according to Tammi). I notice your Colt didn’t stop her – I freaking’ hope you can still shoot demons dead if you sneak up on them from behind. You’ve got some impressive brooding skills and I fear for you and the rest of the world if you lose Dean and get more all depressed and grim on us. I’m also interested that the ‘worrying’ person you’re becoming is your vision of Dean. *We* all think he’s a big woobie.

Dean, I get the impression what you’ll be leaving behind in terms of Sam’s Fate is just starting to dawn on you but it’s completely overshadowed by what you’re going towards. I love your lines. Unhygienic? Tastes like ass? You're the shortbus? Also that was one scarily enthusiastic stabbing.

Kripke, Ben, that was revolting with the teeth and the bugs and the slashed wrists – I hope you’re happy.

I’m also interested that the ‘worrying’ person you’re becoming is your vision of Dean. See this is one of the things that strikes me - he's not becoming Dean but as you say, becoming a version of who he sees Dean. (so it's himself he's becoming (does that makes ensee? no?)).

And Ruby rocked! of course demons are lying liars who lie, so i am intrigued to know her real agenda!

It's like he's holding a mirror up to Dean but it's distorted because of course it's Sam's vision of Dean that we're seeing, not Dean's (or he'd be more like James Bond :p).

I love the brother issues that are woven through that and I love just how bad it is for Sam right now, everything he's never wanted and it's all being dished up. Oh the angst.
