By the waters
The waters
Of Babylon.
We lay down and wept
And wept
For thee Zion.
We remember
Thee remember
Thee remember
Thee Zion

There's another version:
By the rivers of Babylon
There we sat down
Yeah we wept
When we remembered Zion.
My brain is linking it to the Carpenters for some reason - more likely a commentary on the timing of the version rather than the origin.
