Had to carry the woofer up to the platform because the walkway has been built like a freakin' cattle stop and his little paws couldn't cope - spoilt much?

Fabulous picnic and very visible comet - even managed to take some photos [delighted]. Have been devoured by mosquitos and am very, very happy.

ooh, that's so neat! i tried to scope the comet out the other night, but there's been too much cloud cover to see anything -- this is the next best, though!

I'm hideously smug, it always seems like the best astronomical viewing is in the northern hemisphere and I get all wistful when I hear about stuff.

Great pictures. In case I miss seeing it myself (have I already missed seeing it myself?), I won't feel like I've missed it totally!

Re visiting, just leave it open and drop me a note any time the weather looks OK and you feel like it. One of these days, that will coincide with me being home. It's probably hardly worth planning far ahead with 40 degree weekends possible!

I have every reason to believe that tonight, if you head to the top of your cute knoll and watch the sun going down, about 15 minutes after the sun hits the horizon and a little to the left of where it sank, you should be able to see it.

Visiting: one day....

I'll give it a try tonight, thanks!

Thank you ;-)

I'm stupidly smug about the pictures, have figured out how to take slow enough pictures with my camera and am coasting on the glow.

Lucky you, we can't really see it here, what with the houses and clouds and stuff.
