don't worry about taste, I'm impressed that you kept track of all the books you read last year not including fan fiction.

kudos..

Has a new project for 2007.

Thanks! In the beginning I started this LJ partly to track my reading habits. I just try to do a teensy review and tag it 'reading' so I can look back.

oh I see. That makes life easier then, eh?

I don't have the art of tagging my posts down yet. One day!!
Wednesday, January 3rd, 2007 02:37 am (UTC)
Oh the tags are brilliant, I've gown to love them. I've done author name tags so I can go back and see what and when I read and if I liked it.

[grin] I did most of my initial tagging on a very slow day at work.

I think I'm going to keep track for this year, or at least for this quarter. Hopefully it'll result in me reading more books.

I'm free:

Sat 13th at least until about 3 (waiting to confirm appts)
Afternoon of Sat 20th - probably home about 2pm
Probably Sat 27th, but possibly Sun 28th (confirming appts but one will definitely be free)

Any good?

Can do any and all - preference for morning/afternoon?
Thursday, January 4th, 2007 12:55 am (UTC)
Actually the 20th is The Comedy of Errors (http://www.deckchairtheatre.com.au/productions/2007/comedyoferrors) in Kings Park - are you interested in coming?

It's $37 or $32 for six people.

Hmm, probably not. I'm not much of one for plays and have to go to NSW for a wedding the following week, so am watching my spending.

Just pick whichever of the days suits you best or sounds best weather-wise. Morning/early afternoon is fine.

Sat the 13th is it... how early should I turn up?
Thursday, January 4th, 2007 10:28 pm (UTC)
Anytime from 10 - 10:30? I'll have something on hand for lunch.
Wednesday, January 10th, 2007 01:35 am (UTC)
I just heard the forecast for Sat. This place is awful when it's that hot - I hardly ever spend time outside between 10 and 6 on days like that! Feel free to take a rain check. Or, come very early and leave before it gets hot. Or, another option, come Friday evening instead. I normally work in the city that day, but I don't this week, so any time would be fine.
Wednesday, January 10th, 2007 01:41 am (UTC)
Gah, that's going to be disgusting.

OK, Friday nights is booked and will be a late one which kinda precludes a super early Saturday morning. We may have to re-schedule.

Alternatively, I can bring a paddling pool and a supersoaker. What's the water situation like?
Wednesday, January 10th, 2007 02:49 am (UTC)
Re-scheduling might be the go. Maybe just see how the weather is each weekend and see if we have coinciding free time? Or, if you're up for the drive on a weeknight evening when I don't work, it's generally really nice out here in the evenings and we could do llamas and dinner! I know you start early, though, so don't want to throw a spanner in your work-week.
Wednesday, January 10th, 2007 03:28 am (UTC)
I'm conflicted!

Actually a work night could be the way to go - it's not like I'm sleeping much anyway (curse daylight savings).

What would be a good night?
Wednesday, January 10th, 2007 03:15 pm (UTC)
Next Wed is my only free night at home next week. Can check farther afield...
Tuesday, January 16th, 2007 01:25 pm (UTC)
OK I'm going to have to pike on Wednesday - Haven't had a decent night's sleep since Saturday so tomorrow is going to be a big sleeping night [hopes].

I still want to catch up darn it!
