Built a nest of pillows and balanced a hot water bottle on my shoulder to read this in comfort; felt a lot like a womble. 

Stand alone novel set in the Black Jewels world, easy to read, probably wouldn't re-read.

I always thought of them as like the pictures in the book I read as a kid - the show came as quite a surprise!
