Kenobi decided he was FINE today and promoted himself to napping on my bed – nearly gave me a heart attack when I came back from the kitchen to find him casually snoozing on it. On the plus side it means he's feeling cheerful and brave, on the minus I'm going to have to lift him on and off and watch him like a hawk. Alternatively I could just chain him to the bed... I was kinda hoping to limit that to humans.

He’s also been diligently removing the left bandage padding, I’m going to re-pad and re-tape today to protect his armpit.

Now to figure out how to keep him repressed for the next 1.5 weeks.

I saw someone Yatta the other day, but didn't realise it was a Hiroism. I've got some catching up to do :)

Oh yes. They are only revealed in situations of Dire Emergency.

Like not being able to sleep on my bed!

He's on his back right now with his legs sticking up and he looks ridiculous.

Oh, your poor doggy! Those outstretched legs don't look very comfortable.

If only you could explain these things to them. (I had to hold one of the alpacas while a grass seed was removed from its eye yesterday, and it screamed and squawked the whole time.)

Yiikes, I bet that was less than pleasant. Kenobi gets them in his butt poor thingy.

HE thinks everything is FINE. Which is good... sort of ;-)

he's such a gorgeous boy...

Bossie was spoiled tonight with a turkey-wing dinner. I feel I have been neglecting him somewhat of late, so the possible extravagance was completely justified.

I have rescued Poppet twice in as many days. Yesterday morning it was from becoming a Poppet-pancake out on Railway Pde (five minutes before I had to catch the train to work!) and this evening, when he got himself caught by the collar on the prong of a fallen branch in the backyard. I am feeling suitably heroic...
