Cirque du Soleil: Varekai

I went with mr_booboo (who graciously organised tickets),sarren  (who sternly ordered me not to talk during) and mynxii  (who abandoned us while leaving when the mud got too deep).

The show was inspiring. The music, the beautiful costumes, the performers with their amazing strength and flexibility. I want to babble about the entire thing, the net climbing, the child acrobats, the clown/magician, the songs, the contortionist (boneless and so, so beautiful) and everything else I saw. Totally worth it.

A couple leaving with their two smallish children were having trouble carrying them, the second that one was in shoulder-ride position she kept contorting. Sheesh, you take 'em to see a show and they get all bendy.
