The Pearl Diver by Sujata Massey

The seventh in a series of Rei Shimura novels, this being the only one I have read. Rei ends up searching for a woman's mother, a lost japanese pearl diver.

Has a wonderful mix of relationships, politics, feminism, mystery, food and being japanese. I may have to read the other ones.

Four day weekend

After some wibbling I booked Monday off and have a four day weekend to enjoy.

Caught up with the paddling crew for drinks, photos of the Easter trip, vast amounts of discussing of adventure sports, movies, tickling locations and books. Must do so more often.
