Atrocious. The story of a young engineer who wrote his first 'serious' science fiction novel and recoils in horror when his publisher publishes it under the title Bimbos of the Death Sun. He goes to a science fantasy convention to promote the book with his far more socially adept girlfriend who happens to be an ex geek (read native guide). Oh my Goodness! An obnoxious Guest Author is murdered!

I rather liked the descriptions of the people running around in costume and the constant slipping in and out of various characters.
